Lefty Out There
FRANCO CAMPANELLA A.K.A LEFTY OUT THERE
Multi-talented artist Lefty Out There was born in Chicago where he fell in love with the art visiting local museums and began his career in his teen years.
He has been working mostly within the street art community where he developed what will become known as his now globally recognized style in which he uses what he calls “the squiggles”. Initially posting stickers all over his hometown and using school classes to draw, Lefty Out There decided to show his art to the masses. Nowadays he is an influential artist within modern street art culture as well as new fine art circles.
Lefty's art has moved from the margins to large scale installations, brand activations and national campaigns, fashion (he has presented his clothing line at NYFW) and furniture. When creating, he also implements technology like lasers, TVs, mini computers, LED light boxes, wifi and so on. Lefty’s artworks can be seen in the cities all over the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Lefty Out There has been collaborating with brands like Stoli, Nike, Miami’s most famous club E11EVEN, Chicago’s Ambassador Hotel and prestigious restaurant Chotto Matte in Toronto.
